You can now legally bet on video games in New Jersey


Esports Entertainment Groupa popular esports online gaming company, launched its Platform which allows residents of New Jersey to bet on video games legally.

New Jersey bettors can go to LIFE.gg to place bets on professional esports events for games like Call of Duty, Monitoring, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and Dota 2.

The company and the platform were has obtained full authorization for sports betting from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement on April 4.

He had suffered a “soft play” phase before getting full clearance.

“We are pleased with the end of the soft play period, which is a testament to all the hard work our team has done over the past year,” Grant Johnson, CEO of Esports Entertainment Group, said.

“As the first licensed esports-focused betting site in North America, we are thrilled to fully launch the LIFE.gg platform in New Jersey, one of the largest and most promising jurisdictions for sports betting in the country.

Competitive esports games have grown in popularity over the past few years. Some colleges and universities are even now offering scholarships to esports competitors.

Esports Entertainment Group was founded in 2008 and has offices in New Jersey, UK and Malta.
