Xbox Game Pass April 2022: List of free games


Xbox Game Pass has a cool collection of games set to release for the rest of March, however, gamers have already started wondering what games are coming next month. Check out the list of free games with Xbox Game Pass in April 2022 here.

Xbox Game Pass is one of the best gaming subscription services. March was an amazing month for him with the release of the coveted guardians of the galaxy next to Quick returns and lawn mower simulator.

Compared to that, April’s slate doesn’t seem quite as long yet, but more titles will be announced soon. There’s a long list of cool games set to come to Xbox Game Pass this year. Although most of them are not currently scheduled to launch next month.

Xbox Game Pass April 2022: Which games will be free?

Here is a list of games that will be free with Xbox Game Pass in April 2022:

  • MLB The Show ’22 (for console) – coming April 5, 2022
  • Chinatown Detective Agency (for console and PC) – coming April 7, 2022

Sony San Diego MLB The Show 22 is a popular baseball simulator that launches Day one on the gaming subscription for the second consecutive year. This time it expands with cross-play, cross-save, and a launch for Nintendo Switch.

The other game Chinatown Detective Agencyis a point-and-click adventure game set in a cyberpunk Singapore in the year 2037. You play as a former police officer, Amira Darma, who begins her career as an IP in Chinatown.

There will be puzzles to solve, and the cases around the world will eventually amount to a massive conspiracy. Worth a try if you don’t plan on playing anything else.

These are the only two games currently announced. Over time more games will be added and we will update them here.

What games will be leaving Xbox Box Game Pass in April 2022?

Currently, we only know of one title that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass in April 2022. It’s Destiny 2 and three of its recent expansions.

Destiny 2: Beyond Lightyou, Keeper of shadows, and Abandoned will leave Xbox Game Pass in April for PC players. The bundle has already been removed from the console library.

List of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the rest of March 2022

There are only a few days left in March, but the Xbox Game Pass lineup is packed. Here’s a list of games still coming to subscription in March 2022:

  • Conquest of the Corrupted Grail (for console) – coming March 22, 2022
  • Zero Escape Nonary Games (for cloud, console and PC) – coming March 22, 2022
  • norco (for PC) – coming March 24, 2022
  • F1 2021 (for console) EA Play – coming March 24, 2022
  • A memory blue (for console and PC) – coming March 24, 2022
  • Cross Kings 3 (for Xbox Series X/S) – coming March 29, 2022
  • Weird West (for cloud, console, and PC) – coming March 31, 2022.

Although the aligned titles are not as big as the guardians of the galaxyplayers receive far more than the subscription is worth.

Xbox Game Pass leak reveals several titles coming in 2022

Xbox Game Pass is off to a good start to the year with some very special titles already available on the service. However, several of them are already lined up to be available soon. If you haven’t signed up for the subscription yet, now should be a good time to do so.

A leak published by Sullivan on the ResetEra The forum revealed several titles that are set to be available for free with Xbox Game Pass in the coming months of 2022. The leak is believed to have happened due to an internal Steam database issue.

Some of the more prominent names on the list include Sleepwake, Trek to Tomi, Sniper Elite 5, Slime Rancher 2, and Slintlock: The Siege of Dawn.

These games should launch directly on the Xbox Game Pass. Release dates range from April 20, 2022 to September 9, 2022.

However, Microsoft could still modify its plans as these are not yet officially announced. Still, given the evolution of past leaks, players should be willing to give them a try.
