Players control a cat as it explores a robotic world in Annapurna Interactive’s brand new game, with an emphasis on the sound of “purring”. The game could be another hit for the publisher, which can almost never go wrong thanks to its gorgeous aesthetics and likable protagonist.
It’s safe to say that Live a Live, which then received only a lukewarm response and dismal sales in Japan, wasn’t at the top of the wishlists of most 90s RPG gamers who would have could have undergone a remake. But given how impressive this new approach is, it’s obvious that a lot of effort has gone into ensuring that the game’s second chance will be more successful than the first.
TWO POINT CAMPUS
Two Point Campus has the potential to be even more enjoyable than Two Point Hospital, which was a sweet spiritual successor to the beloved 90s theme hospital. Two Point Studios team comes into its own without needing to refer to prior sources.
LINE OF SAINTS
Volition’s choice to revamp Saints Row has sparked a lot of discussion, with many reactionaries online claiming the game could lose some of its personality as a result. However, it doesn’t look like these reviews will be entirely accurate when we get our hands on the finished product, given that the recently released Boss Creator demo lets players design happily ridiculous protagonists for the game.
The last of us
Remaking an already remastered game can be a risky approach, but there’s no doubt that this upgraded version of The Last of Us is more detailed than the PS3 and PS4 versions.
How many gamers are willing to pay full price (for some, a third time) for a more polished version of a game whose remaster is already included in the PS Plus collection is still up in the air. Naturally, assuming it stays there.
