Ahead of Sony’s expected June 1 announcement, PS Plus free games for June 2022 are leaking online, and it looks like a really solid lineup.
June 2022 is shaping up to be a big month for PlayStation fans. Sure, there’s the rollout of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium on June 13, but there’s also the Essential tier free months. Not to mention that there is an inventory on June 2. With a ton of information about to be revealed over the next few days, the PSMore june 2022 free games leaked online.
As many fans know, the selection of free PS Plus games has been an incredibly leaky ship over the past few months. Each month was accurately leaked by Dealabs user Billbil-kun, but this leak is not from that user. This should be taken with an extra grain of salt, but it lines up with Billbil-kun’s recent comment. They said they would release the games on May 31 and that fans shouldn’t buy super popular games or kids’ games.
According to sources from the Areajugones site, the three free PS Plus games will include God of War, from Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikerand Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. God of the war is about as popular of a game as they come, while Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl makes sense to children. Fans will know for sure on June 1, because that’s when Sony is expected to announce them, and maybe even tomorrow if Billbil-kun confirms this leak as well. It’s also worth noting that Nick Baker, a known insider, also said he heard it was legit.
Now many may be curious as to why give God of the war away on PS Plus, especially since it’s part of the PS5 PS Plus Collection and the upcoming PS Plus Extra range. It’s actually a pretty smart move by Sony. By offering one of its most popular games for free, newcomers or anyone who hasn’t played it can check it out, which can lead to more PS Plus Extra subscribers. It also gives PS4 users a game that PS5 owners have, so there’s really nothing wrong with that.
It is also possible thatGod of the warthe presence of as a PS Plus game could be marketing for God of War: Ragnarok. Sony’s State of Play focuses on third-party partners, but that doesn’t mean more information about the sequel won’t be released in June. And if so, giving away the first game will create anticipation for what’s next. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see if Sony confirms this lineup, as well as how fans receive it overall.
PSMore subscribers receive a handful of free games each month.
