Hadley, Mass. — If you’re 15 and under, PiNZ Bowl is offering two free rounds all summer long.
Pinz Bowl in Hadley has teamed up with the Kids Bowl Free program to host the Summer Special at the Hampshire Mall.
Kids Bowl Free is a program created by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide safe and fun ways for children to spend their summers.
Pittsfield resident Paul Potash is in town this week on vacation and the free games were a great option for some family fun.
“Two free spins is pretty cool,” said Pittsfield resident Joe Potash. “Especially with the two kids. Yup. It made it even more worth it.”
“That’s great! I love it!” said Paul Kopec, resident of Orange. “Stay out of trouble. Good things ! »
The news also spread to Amherst resident Candy Walker, who had just picked up her grandson and his friend from summer school and was looking to have some fun.
“My grandson and his son wanted to go bowling,” Walker said. “And we heard they had free bowling in the summer for the kids, so we tried to take advantage of that.”
“We haven’t seen each other in a long time since third grade, so we wanted to have a good day today,” said Jaden Rivera, a resident of Amherst. “And the last time we saw each other was on his birthday.”
Kids Bowl Free is also offering discounted family memberships this summer.
According to general manager Jason Breault, the line to enter the bowling alley was packed by the time the doors were lifted.
“They were there like, ‘We’re here for ‘Kids Bowl Free!'” Breault said.
The Kids Bowl Free program will continue until October 31. The bowling alley will be open to children Sunday through Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Parents can register their children online at the Kids Bowl Free website.
