Amazon’s Prime Gaming free games for August revealed


Amazon’s Prime Gaming revealed the range of free games for subscribers in August, and in addition to the previously revealed freebies of Battlefield V and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantisthe list of free to claim video games includes Metamorphosis, One Normal Lost Phone, Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story, Planet Alpha, Secret Files: Tunguskaand Lost Horizon 2. The set is set to be available from August 2, which will also mark the last chance to claim previous free games. Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series, RAD, The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature, Tales of the Neon Sea, Automachefand Portal Dogs. battlefield 1which is currently available for free, will remain available until August 4.

All the typical caveats for Prime Gaming free games apply here. They can only be claimed by subscribers, and even then only for a limited time. These are also PC-only titles, and some – like Battlefield V — will require other platforms like Origin to activate.

Here’s how Amazon’s Prime Gaming describes the lesser-known titles in the August deals:

  • Metamorphosis – Play as a tiny bug, Gregor, in the first-person adventure set in a surreal world where the player’s new abilities are their last and only hope for redemption.
  • A normal lost phone – In this puzzle video game, explore the privacy of a stranger whose phone was found by the player.
  • Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story – Immerse yourself in Laura’s social life in this spiritual sequel to A normal lost phone.
  • Alpha Planet – In a beautiful alien world filled with mystery and danger, players must harness the power of night and day as they struggle to survive.
  • Secret Files: Tunguska – Solve one of the greatest mysteries of our time in the graphic adventure video game
  • Lost Horizon 2 – As superpower tensions threaten to tear the world apart, the British soldier must save his family from powerful enemies.

As stated above, Battlefield V, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Metamorphosis, One Normal Lost Phone, Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story, Planet Alpha, Secret Files: Tunguskaand Lost Horizon 2 are set to be available through Amazon’s Prime Gaming starting August 2.
