Technology and Streaming Deals

Roku Streambar Pro

The Streambar is a soundbar with built-in Roku. The smaller, less luxurious version is one of our favorite 4K streaming devices. The Pro model on sale here has bigger speakers, a better remote and a larger physical footprint. This 2-in-1 gadget lets you load up your favorite streaming apps, like Netflix or Hulu, and listen to them in much better audio quality than your TV speakers (no need to plug in a streaming stick) on your TV). The $30 discount is the best deal we’ve seen for the gadget on Amazon. Read our guide to the best soundbars for more recommendations.

The iPad Pro (8/10, WIRED recommends) is the ultimate iPad. The 11-inch is a very nice size, and thanks to the M1 chip, it has the raw power to justify its price. This model lacks the Mini LED tech of the 12.9-inch model, but it’s still a nice display with a 120Hz refresh rate, good cameras, Face ID, and four speakers. This discount gets you 256GB of storage for the MSRP of the 128GB model.

The 2021 iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a little more expensive now than it was a few weeks ago, but it’s still a bargain. It’s the ultimate portable tablet, perfect for reading a book or movie on the go. Our guide to the best iPads has more tips and you can check out our guide to the best iPad accessories to complete your tablet experience.

Speaking of iPad accessories, this extremely small and durable solid-state drive is perfect for anyone who needs to transfer data between devices on the go. It has a USB-C port for data transfer, is quite sturdy, and packs a whopping 1 terabyte of storage. Read our guide to the best portable storage drives to learn more.

Our favorite Android tablet is on sale at its lowest price ever. You get a very nice 11-inch 2K LCD screen here with decent performance and great quad speakers for surprisingly good sound. It will receive two years of security updates and will receive Android 12, but no further updates thereafter. Read our guide to the best tablets to learn more.

Click the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. It’s our favorite wireless charger. You can place a 4×6 photo between the resin exterior and the wireless charger, meaning it can double as a photo frame (or artwork) when you’re not charging your phone.

Samsung Galaxy A53

With its sleek display, solid battery life and performance, the Samsung Galaxy A53 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is an easy phone to recommend. This ultra-low price makes it even sweeter. It’s earned a top spot in our guide to the best cheap phones and is a great alternative to the Google Pixel 5A. This deal matches the best price we’ve seen on Amazon.

This mouse goes on sale quite often, but we’ve never seen it drop in price so low when paired with the wireless charging dock. This docking station is one of the reasons the Viper Ultimate has earned a spot in our guide to the best gaming mice. It’ll never run out of battery when you’re in the middle of a gaming session.

This rare offer almost mirrors what we saw on Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year. New customers are eligible, as are former subscribers who haven’t had an active subscription for at least a month. The deal is for the ad-supported plan. Hulu is one of our favorite streaming services.

Video game deals

Ring of Elden

Ring of Elden has been making waves, good and bad, since its release in February. This is the first and best offer we have tracked for the game. The discount is equal to walmart and GameStop. Sorry, Xbox and PC players, the discount is only available on PlayStation. Read our in-depth review to learn more.

This award-winning indie game usually costs $20. Although it refreshes on a semi-regular basis, we don’t usually see the price drop that low. Purchases can be redeemed through Steam on Windows and Linux PCs. The sale lasts a few more days.

Discounted gift cards are only a “deal” if you’re planning on spending the money anyway. If you frequently buy new digital downloads for your Nintendo Switch or 3DS, this is an easy way to save a few bucks. (But again, only if you had already planned to spend $50.)

Epic Games offers Borderlands 3 for a whopping zero dollars. A free Epic Games account is required to download the game, which will be free until May 26. The promotion is part of the Epic Games Mega Sale, which offers tons of discounted games. Other gifts will be unveiled over the next few Thursdays.

Home & Away Deals

Roborock Q5+

Photography: Roborock

This is the absolute best robot vacuum. It has a self-emptying bin and long battery life, and it navigates smartly. There are also options to customize cleaning maps and patterns, and you can start a cleaning routine by chatting with your smart speaker. It’s the best deal we’ve seen for the Q5+. Alternatively, if you want to skip the auto-emptying bin, the vacuum robot alone is also on sale. We rounded up more robot vacuum cleaner deals earlier this week here.

We haven’t reviewed the Roborock S5 (we to have tested the Roborock S6 MaxV), but the brand has consistently made our list of the best robot vacuums. The companion app lets you set cleaning schedules and specify where to clean. There is also voice support for Alexa and Google Assistant. Reviews on the web indicate that the vacuum cleaner is generally quiet and easy to use.
